Abba-Rose Dinah Vaiaoga-Ioasa, attended St Therese Primary and Intermediate School from 1996-2012. She attended Auckland Girls Grammar where she was Head Girl in 2007. Following her love of Science and Maths decided to study a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Auckland.

Throughout her years at University, Dinah took on Mentoring Roles offered by the University including mentoring High School Students and First-Year Pacific & Maori Engineering Students.

In 2012 she graduated with her Honours degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering and started her career as a Process Engineer for Limestone Processing Company – McDonalds Lime now known as Graymont (a Canadian owned company) based down in Otorohanga.  Three years into her role she was given the opportunity of a secondment in Canada, working on a Remote Kiln Operation Project with two teams based in Utah & Havelock (Eastern Canada).

With the opportunity to further her skills and lead a team as Kiln Supervisor in Canada along with experiencing a different Country, Dinah decided to pack her things and make the move. Part way in her secondment she returned home and competed at the Miss Samoa Pageant in 2016 placing Second Runner Up.

Whilst discussing her future career plans with her brother Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa (also a former St Therese School Student), she decided to take up his offer of trying out a new career path and producing his second self-funded feature film – Hibiscus & Ruthless released in NZ January 2018 (Dinah was also Associate Producer for his first feature film – Three Wise cousins (2016).

Moving back to Auckland, Dinah is still a part of the St Therese Parish in Three Kings.

Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa, attended St Therese from 1996-1997. After attending Auckland Grammar School on a scholarship, he studied a conjoint Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland. During this time Stallone also became involved with the St Therese School Board of Trustees where he was Proprietors Representative for nine years and Chairperson for four years.

Stallone’s passion lies in film-making and after working in the television industry, he made his first feature film, a self-funded effort – Three Wise Cousins (2016) which was released to commercial success at the New Zealand box office. His second feature film Hibiscus & Ruthless was released in 2018.
